ABOUT RAINDROP THERAPY
Raindrop Technique® (Young Living Essential Oils) is a powerful technique using essential oils developed by D. Gary Young in 1980's. It combines several holistic modalities to bring balance and alignment to the body in a non-invasive manner. It also stimulates all the body systems on a physical and emotion level. This technique involves applying therapeutic grade essential oils to the spine, neck and feet. The session lasts about an hour to an hour and a half however the benefits may last up to a week or more.
What are the possible Benefits ?
Sense of calmness, heightened relaxation.
Release of tension, toxins and emotional responses that can be stored in the muscles.
Clients with long term pain issues or those with extreme pain, may find relief as the technique uses very light feathering and mild pressure massage.
Only Young Living therapeutic grade essential oils are used which are organic, natural and non-toxic.
Therapeutic grade oils provide a subtle, lingering scent extending the benefits of the technique long after you have left the salon.
Regular Raindrop’s can enhance feelings of balance and confidence.
Additional or alternative oils may be used for each client in response to Individual needs.
How is the Raindrop different to massage?
The Young Living oils are organic and therapeutic grade with 100 to 140 drops of oil applied during a Raindrop Technique® session massages use 5 to 10 drops of oil very diluted in massage oil. RDT relaxes the client with the oils relaxing the senses and the nervous system together with light physical touch, in traditional massage the body Is relaxed with music and physical touch. Heavier pressure may also be used to relax some muscles The oils work Intelligently as required whereas in traditional massage specific needs are addressed through physical massage. Unlike massage there is no oil residue.
The Importance of Raindrop Therapy
Everyone's spinal column contains nerves that feed the entire body.
Many types of spinal misalignments are caused by viruses and bacteria that lie dormant along the spine resulting in inflammation and deformity.
Stress which causes reduced oxygen and circulation to the body can intensify the inflammation resulting in pain and misalignment.
Raindrop Therapy is a sequence of ‘anointing with oils and laying on of hands’ that brings structural and electrical alignment to the body in a relaxing and invigorating manner through the power of essential oils. There are many versions of raindrop technique, but the same oils used are high in Phenolic content to ward off potentially damaging viruses and bacteria while cleansing cellular receptor sites to enhance intercellular and intracellular communication and improve overall bodily function. The oils used in Raindrop Technique® must be of high quality therapeutic grade which is why I only use and recommend Young Living Essential Oils®.
